A splash of Damiana Liqueur is an addition that adds a local flavor to the popular summertime beverage.
Damiana is a desert herb that grows from Texas to Central America, but is a cultivated crop just down the road in Todos Santos. Long reputed to be an aphrodisiac, the liqueur produced from it here in Mexico adds the local flavor to the Beach Club’s Margaritas in the place of the traditional Triple Sec.

2oz Tequila
1/2 oz Damiana or to taste
Fresh squeezed lime juice
A splash of orange juice
Sweet syrup to your taste
Served in a glass with salted or unsalted rim the beverage is great blended or rocks, but particularly delicious when served on the shores of the Sea of Cortez.
