The Holiday Season will launch in elegant style on the eve of Thursday, December 10, 2009 with the PREMIER event of the winter season, the Fourth Annual Dressed to the K- 9’s Holiday Event in support of the Los Cabos Humane Society. The theme this year stars Humphrey Dogart and Kitty Bergman in CATSABLANCA... Endless love at Lands End. This year's most romantic event!
We are very excited to have Auberge Private Residences at the Esperanza Resort as our Corporate Sponsor for the event. The fundraiser will be held at the spectacular Auberge Private Residences at Esperanza located in the development of Punta Ballena, Cabo San Lucas. Sip, Savor and Sample an offering of Cabo delights, Silent Auction and toe tapping Live Entertainment. Here's your chance to see and be seen showing off your glitter and glitz, a party NOT to be missed! It truly will be a Soireé like no other this year, so mark your calendar and plan to attend.
Tickets will go on sale in the latter part of October for $100 USD each and $125.00 USD at the door the evening of the event. 100% of all funds raised by this event support our goal to alleviate the community health problems associated with wandering street pets and animals generated by overpopulation. We receive NO government assistance or any other official source. We depend entirely on donations. None of our officers or volunteers receives monetary compensation for their time or expenses.
Our mission is to inspire and mobilize our community to create a society that promotes respect and responsibility towards animal life. The continual growth of the Los Cabos area demands that we constantly improve our service.

THE SIXTH ANNUAL “DOG DAY AFTERNOON”
Flora Farm hosts fundraiser on Nov. 8, 2009.
The Los Cabos Humane Society invites all animal and food lovers to attend “Dog Day Afternoon,” a fundraiser at the Greene’s fabulous Flora Farm on Sunday, November 8, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Los Cabos Humane Society continues to benefit from everyone’s generous gifts and donations. Since the inception of the CARE and the Cabo San Lucas Humane Society merger in June of 2009, the society continues making a much needed difference. We are working diligently to improve the quality of the lives of those who can’t speak for themselves and for everyone in our Los Cabos community. This culinary event enables the society to continue reducing the number of animals through adoption, spay and neutering, and rescue.

Special guest judges, Troy Chandler from Bonsai Bistro in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho and Rusty Staub, legendary New York Met baseball player join local celebrity judges to assess the restaurants in 5 different categories. These categories are: Best Use of Local Ingredients, Best Plate Presentation, Best Prepared Dish, Most Original Concept and Best Booth.

Corporate tables are available for $1500 – VIP tickets include advance admission an hour early including priority restaurant tastings, shade seating, and parking at the Flora Farm.
