Our Mission:

To inspire and mobilize our community to create a society that promotes respect and responsibility towards animal life. This alone is the means to fight the health problem generated by the overpopulation of wandering street pets and animals.
Our Future Goals:
To create an organization and a state-of-the-art Center that will support the following:
• Reasonable cost animal sterilization
• Provides an education, teaching and training facility to support:
the education of children and adults on the care of animals.
the teaching of Community Members on animal care and control policies.
the training of Veterinarians and Veterinarian Interns in the new medical procedures.
• Serves as a community resource and networking base for the Community, local Veterinarians and other Humane Societies in developing countries.
• Allows a safe haven for animals and their rehabilitation, providing humane care and treatment.
• Facilitates Adoption

Spay and Neuter Clinics will continue at the Los Cabos Humane Society Animal Center. These clinics are announced as they are organized. Just this past weekend 65 animals were altered in one of our two day clinics!  Clients may also go to specified local veterinarians and redeem Los Cabos Humane Society Spay and Neuter Coupons for free sterilization. Appointments for free pick-up and return of pets can be made with our LCHS van driver, Gerardo Moreno. He can be contacted at 044 624 141 9291.

Fundraising efforts will continue with our four major and ever so popular events: Dog Day Afternoon, November 2009; Dressed to the K-9’s, December 2009; Hearts and Tails, February 2010; and Paws’n Claws Open, April 2010. Other means will be donations through our website at www. humanesocietycabo.com
