Kid's Day and Mother's Day Celebrated at CostaBaja Resort & Marina

 


Kids' Day at CostaBaja Resort & Marina

This past 1st of May, CostaBaja Resort & Marina, hosted a celebration for Kid’s Day. (Día de los niños) This event was organized for the children of La Paz, in celebration of their day, and give the parents an excuse to be with them and enjoy the day, at Pueblo Marinero.

For this party, there where 4 big tents for different activities. For example, at one of the tents, children could enjoy getting their face paint with a butterfly, or starts, etc. In another tent, they could get cake, pizza, and soft drinks, and in yet another, each of the kids get a little bag of candies, and in the fourth they get the present for the raffle, during this event the clown “Toy” was in charge to give the kids a show that they can enjoy and have a great time, he sang some of his songs and made them dance with him and jump and play around, he made different games for them, also gave to the kids their presents for the one who won at the raffle, he introduce Winnie The Pooh, Tiger, Elmo, and each of them start singing songs, and start telling some stories at the end of the show, all of the kids where around to got the change and try to break the big “Piñata” full with candies.

Mother's Day at CostaBaja Resort & Marina

Also, at the end of all this activities, many of them stay for the children's movie "Happy Feet", making for a good end to their day.

There was another big event, Mother day, on May 10th, (Día de las Madres) on this occasion, there were group of children and young teenage girls that present some traditional dances from the states of Jalisco, and Tamaulipas, also a group of seniors presented the traditional dance call “Danzon” from the state of Veracruz. Between entertainment acts the hostess of this show, a local television celebrity, awarded prizes to the lucky mothers that won in the raffle. At the end of this dances, the Mariachi, start playing “las mañanitas” for all of the mothers, as finish and after this, they keep playing making the evening in a very nice event, of joy, also there were some snacks and drinks for everyone.

And to round out the night, the Baja South played songs from the 60´s and 70´s, between two of the Restaurant of Pueblo Marinero, for the guests that stayed to have a good meal at one of our fine restaurants and to enjoy the music.
