CostaBaja Resort Beach Club Moves Toward Completion

Landscape crews have already planted a majority of the beautiful palms that will grace the facility and pool area. In hopes of providing a finished look to the CostaBaja Beach Club when it opens in November, much of the exterior landscaping will be in and taking root before interior finish work is completed. Already the Beach Club is looking like a spectacular addition to the La Paz waterfront.

Construction crews have already filled the beautiful 50 meter infinity edge pool. Members can anticipate some spectacular sunsets reflecting in the pool while sitting on the terrace area with tables and chairs for relaxing, reading etc. Snack foods and drinks will be available on the terrace and very casual pool attire will be acceptable. Facing west, the CostaBaja Beach Club looks out across the entrance to the Ensenada de La Paz and the southern Bahia de La Paz to the majestic end of the Sierra Gigantica range.

In addition, the Costa Baja Beach facility will offer shallow lounge area with only 2” to 4” of water where members can keep their cool. A whirlpool to soak those cares away and a fitness center will also be available to members. A separate children’s pool with fountains will be available for the younger set. The facilities will also include restrooms and shower facilities and a towel bar.

The facilities are rounded out by a slightly more formal bar and dining experience, located on two levels of the CostaBaja Beach Club. On the ground floor will be the lounge and upstairs, the restaurant. The entire back wall of the restaurant will be a soothing waterfall. Attire is expected to be La Paz casual, with shirt and shoes required.

Many of the finer points of the interior décor are still in the works. The walls need a coat of paint and the whicker furniture and brightly colored fabrics will need to be placed. A 21’ cactus and smaller cactus will be lit from the interior to cast a beautiful glow over the entry area. Detail work, including rope wrapped columns and beach palapas will be installed when the heavy construction is complete.

Access to the CostaBaja Beach Club will be exclusively limited to CostaBaja Resort Members and their guests.

There is a great deal of activity around the rest of the 500-acre master planned community as well. Infrastructure additions that will support the 18 hole Gary Player Designed golf course are nearing completion. Located on the hillside behind the Resort, the course will embrace the rugged terrain of the Baja desert while providing a spectacular overlook of the Bahia de La Paz. Construction is set to begin in earnest this fall.

Recently launched in June and selling quickly is the latest addition to the CostaBaja Communities, VistaMar. These luxurious 2 and 3 bedroom residences are located on the bluffs overlooking the Sea with a choice of views which include; Sea, Marina and the golf course. A second new community located on the golf course and overlooking the sea is scheduled for release this fall. Selecting the home that suits your needs best is all part of the fun.
