Dear BajaInsider Subscribers:
The
cruising crowd is beginning to thin here in La Paz this week. Bay Fast went
off well here last weekend and now many of the boats are headed north to
Loreto Fest then to dry storage for the season. The Sea is beginning to warm
up and the fish are getting more active. Summer must be on the way as our
temperatures are reaching into the 90's now.
We
have added new daily temperature forecast maps to our selection of
forecasting tools on our Baja Weather
page. Please check it out and tell us what you
think.
Baja Mosquito Fleet tells us they are already starting to book up for
some of the prime summer fishing and the season is just beginning. The early
season was very productive and the anglers are hoping for more of the same
with Tuna, Dorado and Marlin to begin soon.
There
are several holidays coming up in the first part of May, and we have a
little background on how those holidays are celebrated here in Baja and
Mexico. We have a couple from our contributing author Slade Ogletree.
So, without further ado, here the latest stories on the Baja Insider
