Eastern Pacific Tropical Weather Information

BajaInsider Weather Synopsis

Mexico Exchange Rate Wednesday, September 1, 2010 9:38 AM A Low over the CA deserts (white arrow) and a very weak Low (green arrow) over the California Bight will bring gray skies to the Pacific coast of Baja California this morning. Things will warm up quickly inland with Mexicali reaching 110°F. Baja Sur will have a day much like the last week, warm and humid with the chance of afternoon thunderstorms and rain. Winds in the Sea will be light and variable from the WSW during the day and the SW during the evening hours to 10kts. Down south we have a developing system,(red arrow) it may spin up into a tropical depression in the next 24hrs. The forecasted movement of the system is unsure, but preliminary forecasts have it moving slowly west, well south of Baja Sur. There is a trough (orange arrow) crossing the Tehuantepec and will be our next area to watch late in the week... this is hurricane season! Enjoy your day.
