Tropical Storm Guillermo is well west of the threat window to Baja California Sur. Therefore the information will no longer be updated until historical data is available.

August 18, 2009 12:05 PM MDT Tropical Storm Guillermo continues to move WNW some 1180 miles WSW of Cabo San Lucas. Guillermo is diminishing, and is just barely a tropical storm. Guillermo should dissipate without making landfall.

Tropical Storm Guillermo is located near 25.7N 149.9W
and motion is 310° at 22kts. Central barometric pressure is estimated at 1007Mb and winds are 35kts with gusts to 45kts. Tropical Storm Guillermo well north of the Hawaiian Island chain and not expected to make landfall before dissipating in the next couple of days.

Tropical Depression 10E formed on the morning of August 12. TD10E is a large and well organized storm and will continue to build over +26°C water for the next several days, well away from the threat window to Baja California Sur. TD10E was upgraded to Tropical Storm Guillermo in the 9PM MDT release from the NHC on 8/12.Guillermo was upgraded to a Category 1 Hurricane on the evening of 8/13.Guillermo became the second Major Hurricane of the season just before leaving the Eastern Pacific basin for the Central Pacific. No significant effects from this system should be felt in Baja.
