September 7, 2009 7:16 AM MDT Tropical Depression 15E has formed some 1145 miles WSW of Cabo San Lucas. TD15E is forecast to evolve into Tropical Storm Linda in the next 24hrs and move to the NNW into cooler waters of the Central Pacific. The system is not forecast to make landfall or significantly affect Baja weather.

At 3AM MDT Tropical Depression 15E is located near 15.5N 125.6W and is moving 285° at 7kts. Cenrtal barometric pressure is estimated at 1006Mb and windsa are 30kts with gusts to 40kts. TD15E is currently over 27°C waters and will strengthen to a tropical storm as it turns to the NW. This course will rapidly take it over cooler waters and it is not forecast to achieve hurricane intensity.

Since this storm is unlikely to affect Baja peninsular weather we will only update this page once per day.
