Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone is the heart of Cabo and offers dinning, drinking and shopping, all conveniently located adjacent to Puerto Paraiso and Luxury Avenue malls. You’ll discover gourmet restaurants, exclusive Mexican jewelry and artisan shops, a Tequila Museum, and at the Aqua mini-market – a pharmacy, deli, coffee bar, internet cafe and more!

Enjoy fine dining at restaurants such as Los Corsarios Steak House & Sports Bar, Los Deseos Mexican cuisine, Presto Italian, and the Baja Lobster Company. All restaurants feature inside air-conditioned dining rooms and outside terrace dining overlooking the harbor.  The Huichol artisans store has incredible Indian craftedbeaded sculptures and jewelry, Mi Mexico offers beautiful glass art, jewelry, and contemporary sculptures from Mexico. At the Tequila museum you can learn to appreciate (and taste) the art of making this famous spirit.  Dine or have a drink watching the sunset at a bar that is literally suspended over the water opposite Baja Lobster Company.  Along the malecón you’ll find kiosks where you can arrange for exciting activities ranging from big game fishing charters, to golf, sailing, whale watching and much more!  Directly above the Golden Zone is the Cabo Marina Fiesta Resort.  An all-suites hotel, it has a poolside palapa restaurant and bar overlooking the marina.  Bring your swimsuit if you wish. A spa, sky gym, lobby bar and great harbor view suites with terraces and kitchenettes are just some of the amenities you’ll find at this affordable resort with a premium location.

Huichol Ethnic Art Store

The Huichol Ethnic Art Store allows indigenous Huichol Indians to create, display and sell their unique crafts directly to the public.  A portion of the sales goes back into the Huichol communities located in the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountains in western mainland Mexico.  This tribe is known for its beautiful animistic wooden sculptures covered with beaded designs featuring totems and images of their shamanistic religion including sun and corn Gods, scorpions, eagles, lizards, and more. Take a little time to admire the intricate patterns and colorful designs in their sculptures, masks, clothing, handbags and especially their woven yarn paintings – famous for their striking colors and woven designs.  An original Huichol artwork will make a great purchase for your home or as a gift for someone back home.  Find the Huichol store in the Golden Zone beneath Marina Fiesta Resort immediately adjacent to the new Luxury Avenue mall.

Tequila Museum

Outside the Tequila Museum you may notice people taking pictures of each other sitting on benches alongside sculptures of people garbed in colorful colonial attire.  Men sit next to the pretty lady in the long Mother Hubbard dress while the women – in the arms of the hombre wearing the big sombrero. Inside are photo blow-ups of ancient Tequila factories, a Tequila press, distilling equipment, more exhibits large and small and the most important thing of all – a Tequila sampling bar.  Here you can learn all about Tequila, that unique spirit often called ancient Mexico’s gift to the world.

You’ll appreciate (by tasting) the different types, flavors and popular brands.  Did you know that fine Tequila could cost over $1,000 per bottle; far more than a similarly aged wine.  But quality Tequila can be purchased here for a fraction of that.  Enjoy your Tequila at the bar, outside on the patio overlooking Cabo’s Marina or inside in our comfy chairs and let the spirit of Mexico enhance your visit to Cabo. The Tequila Museum is located on the Golden Zone malecón (walkway) under the Marina Fiesta Hotel near Aqua Market.
