The 37th annual Fun Bicycle ride from Rosarito to Ensenada will take place on May 7, 2016. The bike ride is one of the oldest community sports events on the Baja peninsula and is attended by more than 10,000 spectators and in 2015 had more than 8,000 attending cyclists.
The 80-kilometer route is through some of the prettiest of the Baja California coastal area and is associated with other seasonal rides including one through the Wine Country of Baja California.
As with any event that brings an additional 20,000 people to town reservations for accommodations should be made in advance. The weather is usually very conducive to cycling with the cool Pacific breeze and the traditional May Gray morning skies. WeAdvanced registration is recommended and available on both sides of the border at a variety of sports outlets listed on the event Facebook page. The event memorabilia is very popular with cyclists across Southern California and Baja and is available at the event or online following your registration checkout.
