Friday 15 June 2018 9 AM MDT Tropical Depression bud is very close to the end of it’s life cycle. Moving toward a landfall on the mainland coast of Mexico the system is expected to disspate int a post-tropial Low later today as it move to the northeast into Sonora and later the southwest US.

At 09 AM MDT Tropical Depressio Bud is now located near 25.3N 110.0W and is moving 360° @ 10kts. Barometric pressure is 1002mb and winds a 30kts with gusts to 40 kts. Tropical storm force winds extend out 45 miles only in the northeast quadrant.
At 3 AM the government of Mexico canceled all remaining watches and warnings for the Baja peninsula. Some showers will continue across the affected parts of the state of Baja California Sur this morning but clearing and some cooler temps will follow.
Bud is forecast to have little more effect on the Baja peninsula today as it makes landfall on the mainland side of the Sea of Cortez and will degenerate into a post tropical Low as it moves north into mainland Mexico.
