9AM MDT 3 Aug 2016 Troical Storm Ivette has evolved from TD10E now some 895 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas and is moving quickly west into the Central Pacific. Tropical Storm Ivette E is forecast to evolve into Category 1 Hurricane as early as Thursday morning. Ivette poses no threat to the Baja peninsula.

At 9AM Tropical Stpr, Ivette was located near 14.6N 120.4W and was moving 285° at 15kts. Central barometric pressure is 1004Mb and winds are 40kts with gust to 50kts making Ivette a solid Tropical Storm. Forecast call for the system to become Hurricane Ivette as early as 9AM MDT Thursday. The system is already too far west to be of concern to the Baja peninsula and it will quickly move into the Central Pacific basin behind Tropical Storm Howard.
