Starting just minutes from the US/Mexico border south of San Diego is the Tijuana Country Club. Designed by Alistair McKenzie, the course has something for all skill level golfers. When the course was built in the middle of the last century it was well outside of town and frequented by the likes of Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. The city of Tijuana has grown dramatically since then and now the course is located in the middle of the Tijuana metropolitan area. The Tijuana Country Club has a long history of international golf tournaments and the clubhouse and ballroom exhibit the flair and style of the glory days of Baja style.
