Please remember:
Jet skies and powered surfboards are not permitted withing 1km of the island 
Pets are not permitted on the island
Persons not holding permanent residency in the La Paz municipality are required to have park permits
Park Permits must be obtained online or in person in La Paz prior to visiting the islands
Taking of flora or fauna from the island is prohibited, this includes shells, driftwood and other natural beach items
Moorings at Los Islotes are for commercial tours only
To swim with the sea lions at both Los Islotes and El Refugio you must be escorted by an official tour. Tours are available from licensed operators in La Paz.
Spear fishing with any form of supplied air is prohibited and is also restricted from certain areas on the island (see map)
