The Consular Agency in San Jose del Cabo offers routine and emergency services for American Citizens visiting or residing in Baja California Sur.  The Consular Agency performs notarial services and receives applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad.

Until further notice, routine document services will be available periodically, as staffing permits.  To request an appointment for a document service, please write to appointmentsloscabos@state.gov with your name and the type of service you require, and you will be contacted to arrange an appointment on the next available date.

Office Hours

• Monday through Thursday, 9:00AM to 2:00PM, except U.S. and Mexican holidays.

• The Agency location: The Shoppes at Palmilla, in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur.

Available services will include passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notaries by appointment only.
