Program of Main Stage Performers for Carnaval La Paz 2023

 

Jaidy Michel has been selected as Queen of Carnaval La Paz 2023

The lineup of performers for Carnaval La Paz 2023 follows the traditional pattern: a Comedian Thursday night, a Regional Pop vocalist Friday night, a Pop vocalist Saturday night, Cumbia on Sunday night, (Soft) Rock on Monday night, and Mexican Regional Dance on Tuesday to close out Carnaval.

The big news is the return of the VIP seating area for three concerts on the Malecon this year. Matisse, Maria Jose and Carlin Leon. VIP seating will be limited to 500 and priced between $1000MN and $3000MN. The cost and when these VIP tickets will go on sale have yet to be set.

Thursday night to open Carnaval La Paz 2023

Chuponcito ("Pacifier" as in baby pacifier or Suckit))

He is a relatively widely known performer, booked from Chiapas to Detroit, but specific information about his type of comedy was scant. Youtube video

 

Friday night::

Ana Bárbara: Is a Mexican singer, actress, television personality, and model. She has become a prominent figure within Latin entertainment since her professional debut in 1994 and is one of the leading female figures in regional Mexican music. Youtube video

 

Saturday night:

María José is a Mexican singer, ballet and flamenco dancer, athlete and television personality. Her career started at age 15 when she joined the famous 90s Mexican bandKabah as a vocalist. After leaving the band in 2006, she continued her successful solo singing career and has released six studio albums to date. Youtube video

 

Sunday night:

Grupo Carnavaeral is a well-known cumbia band created in 1995 and was formed to highlight the roots of a genre that filled them with pride; today Mr. Humberto Pabón Olivares in partnership with his son, the singer-songwriter and music producer, writes and performs many of their own works.   Youtube Video

 

Monday night:

Matisse is a Mexican pop band trio consisting of Pablo Preciado from Hermosillo, Sonora), Román Torres from Mexicali, and Melissa Robles, also from Mexicali. Youtube video

 

Tuesday night

Carin Leon is a Mexican Cumbia regional music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began his career in music as a member of Los Reales, later having success with the Grupo Arranke. YouTube video

 

The following Sunday is Juvenile Carnaval, with Gentalica and Bely y Beto performing for the younger crowd.
